Every dog is different, but most clients see noticeable improvement after just 1–2 lessons. For the best results and lasting change, we recommend the 6-lesson package.
Can you help with potty training?
Yes! Potty training and crate training are some of the most common reasons clients choose private lessons, especially for puppies.
What kinds of problems can you fix in private lessons?
We handle everything from basic manners and obedience to problem behaviors like jumping, barking, chewing, mild aggression, reactivity, leash pulling, and recall issues.
Do you travel outside Indianapolis?
Yes — we focus on suburbs outside the 465 loop. If you’re unsure whether you’re in our service area, give us a call and we’ll confirm.
What if my dog is aggressive?
We do work with dogs showing mild aggression or reactivity in private lessons. For more serious aggression cases, our Board & Train program may be a better fit.
How long is each lesson?
Each private lesson lasts about 60 minutes. This allows plenty of time for demonstration, hands-on practice, and answering your questions.
Will I need to practice between lessons?
Yes — your involvement is key to success. We’ll give you simple, clear steps to follow between sessions so your dog keeps improving.
Do you offer payment plans?
Payment for individual lessons is due at the time of booking. For the 6-lesson package, we require payment upfront to lock in the discounted rate.
Do you work with puppies?
Absolutely — we love starting dogs young! Early training sets the foundation for a lifetime of good behavior.
What’s the difference between private lessons and Board & Train?
Private lessons happen in your home, with you actively involved in the training. Board & Train is a 3-week immersive program where your dog stays with us for full-time training.
